Sickle cell disease is an inherited blood disorder that affects red blood cells in more than 75,000 people in America. This disease can cause pain episodes and damage to vital organs, even death. Help raise funds and awareness about this disease by participating at the Seventh Annual Sickle Cell Sprint 5K Run/Fitness Walk.
Proceeds from the event will benefit sickle cell services at Memorial Healthcare System and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.

HOW: Registration begins at 6:15 a.m. The run and fitness walk begin at 7:15 a.m.
