Cleveland Clinic Florida is hosting its 7th annual Women’s Heart Health Day on Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cleveland Clinic Florida Jagelman Conference Center (2950 Cleveland Clinic Blvd, Weston, FL 33331). The educational event is free and features a panel of Cleveland Clinic specialists discussing everyday heart health. There will be free blood pressure screenings, along with a full panel of lipid blood screenings provided.
Speakers and Q&A:
Gina Sweat, MS, RD, LD/N and Lillian Craggs-Dino, MS RD, LD/N (Nutritionists & Dietitians) will discuss “A Heart Health Diet to Live By.”
Dalia McCoy, MD (Internist) will discuss “Getting to the Heart of it: Tips for a Heart Healthy Lifestyle.”
Tarannum Khan, MD (Neurologist) will discuss “Stroke; Know the Warning Signs: Are you at Risk?”
Jacobo Kirsch, MD (Radiologist) will discuss “Innovative Diagnostics in Cardiac Imaging.”
Mercedes Dullum, MD (Cardiothoracic Surgeon) will discuss “Women and Cardiac Health: Advances in Heart Disease Treatment.”
