Cooper City recognizes the Starlight Children’s Foundation

Mayor Debbie Eisinger  made a city proclamation recognizing the Starlight Children’s Foundation’s efforts helping seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities. The proclamation sited the Foundations support to 7500 seriously ill children every month in 55 hospitals and clinics throughout the state.
Foundation Advisory Board member Elliot Kleiman, Myra Kleiman and Development Officer Sasha Moon accepted the Proclamation for the Foundation.
Mr. Kleiman then presented a Starlight bear to the mayor and asked members of the community to sponsor bears to be given to a seriously ill child. Details can be found at
